This is an OC-only roleplay solely based on The Outsiders book, written by S.E. Hinton. In this para-only rp, we will relive the days before the incident, where Johnny is still petrified, yet healthy -- where Dally is still gallant, yet tormented. Where Ponyboy still believes he's the only one who reads and watches sunsets. This is just the beginning of all other beginnings: the beginning of their story -- a story in which we are free to create! It's up to us to live it right. To create the moment up until Pony walks out into the bright sunlight from the darkness of that movie house. Join us in our expedition!

Remember..

You are allowed to take a character mentioned in the book, and develop them to your liking. Evie, Sandy, Kathy, Steve Randle’s mentioned yet unnamed cousin, etc. Please note that this doesn’t necessarily guarantee that the roleplayer of their significant others will want to develop an intimate relationship with these adapted characters, but must bare in mind that they will need to integrate some form of history between the two into a plot line. You are also allowed to create family members of the gang, but do not fully develop a two-sided relationship between your character and that gang member — let the roleplayer of the gang member get a feel of your character, and decide what they want to do from there.

Just a few suggestions to maybe arouse a few interests. We would love to see more applications, especially for such characters as Darrel Curtis and Tim Shepard. We would also like to see more Socs!
